About Laévo
Laévo is a personalized prescription skincare platform that creates custom formulas based on your skin history, tolerance, and goals. Each formula is designed to support long-term skin health — not just short-term results.
Most skincare products are mass-produced and not tailored to your skin. Laévo provides prescription-strength, customized formulations that are made to order, adjusted over time, and structured around skin biology — allowing for more effective and controlled treatment.
All formulas are compounded in a licensed Canadian pharmacy using pharmaceutical-grade ingredients. Each formula is made fresh for you — never mass-produced or off-the-shelf.
Yes. Laévo serves patients across Canada, with the exception of certain provinces where regulations may vary. Contact us at support@laevo.ca if you have questions about your province.
Your formula
Yes. All Laévo formulas are prescription-based. Your assessment is reviewed by a licensed medical professional who determines the appropriate treatment plan for your skin.
Your assessment is reviewed by a licensed Canadian medical professional trained in dermatology-related care. This ensures your formula is both safe and appropriate for your skin.
The Core Formula is a personalized, retinoid-based prescription designed to support:
- Collagen production
- Skin renewal and cell turnover
- Texture improvement
- Long-term skin stability
Add-ons are targeted components added to your Core Formula when needed, based on your assessment and clinical review. These may include:
- Pigment modulation — for uneven tone and melasma
- Acne modulation — for persistent breakouts
- Barrier stabilization — for sensitivity and damage
- Hormone-informed support (45+) — for mature skin concerns
In many cases, your routine will need to be simplified. We may recommend adjusting or stopping certain products to avoid:
- Overlapping actives that cause irritation
- Ingredients that reduce formula effectiveness
- Unnecessary complexity
Results & safety
Most patients begin to notice changes within 6–12 weeks, with continued improvement over time. Laévo focuses on gradual, long-term results rather than quick, aggressive changes that can destabilize the skin.
Some treatments — especially retinoids — may cause temporary dryness or mild irritation during the adjustment phase. This is why we start at appropriate strengths, adjust gradually, and prioritize barrier support throughout. Your plan is structured to minimize unnecessary irritation.
Yes. Your formula is customized based on your sensitivity level. Barrier stabilization is prioritized before increasing active strength, which improves tolerance and reduces the risk of irritation.
If you experience unexpected irritation, contact our team at support@laevo.ca for guidance. Your formula can be adjusted based on your skin's response.
Some prescription ingredients are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your assessment will include this information, and formulas will be adjusted accordingly. Always inform your clinician of your status.
